For the 21st year, Chapter members will gather to landscape the grounds of the Ronald McDonald House of Northern Virginia at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Ronald McDonald Landscape Day is one of the Chapter’s proudest and most successful charitable works. Volunteers at this event make a measurable difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families being treated at area hospitals. As a home away from home for ill children, Ronald McDonald House provides a home-like environment where young hospital patients and their families can find comfort, necessities, and respite during a time of great stress. Under the direction of WMCCAI member, Heritage Landscape Services, Chapter members, families, and friends will work to clean, spruce up, and rejuvenate the WMCCAI honor garden and the Ronald McDonald House’s surroundings.
